For Immediate Release
Gilbert, SC (January 17, 2024 /3:00pm) – The boil water advisory has been lifted for the following areas due to a water main break:
All of:
- Augusta Highway from Spring Hill Rd. to Spool Wheel Rd.
- Spring Hill Rd. North of Augusta Highway
- Finlay Farms sub-division
- Rocky Springs sub-division
- Golden Jubilee Rd.
- White Plains sub-division
The line has been repaired and water service is restored. The water supply has been thoroughly flushed and boiling water is no longer necessary. Water customers may check the Gilbert-Summit Rural Water District website at www.gsrwater.com for updates on all boil water advisories.
Water customers may also contact the office between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, at 803-892-5544.
